What a great stay!! We had a little trip up to Brisbane for the weekend. When we arrived someone was blocking the driveway (a rouge abandoned car), we were a little annoyed but within a minute a hotel clerk ran out and directed us to another area and apologised. He even walked us all the way up to reception and offered to help up with our bags. Super impressed with his service! It’s always a bit hit and miss booking an “arty” hotel but this was a HIT! I wish I’d known sooner about the Japanese restaurant downstairs (which also services the room service). I only got a couple of snacks but they were delicious and very reasonably priced! The room itself was surprisingly big (high floor king room booked through booking.com) the room was very functional; great use of space. The bed was comfortable and slippers, plenty of coat hangers, tea and pod coffee were provided free of charge. I really liked that everything was “eco friendly” as well. The gym on level 2 was epic. I’ve never seen a hotel gym stocked so well. Heaps of DBs, sand bags, new functional equipment and heaps of interchangeable bit and bobs to help you create an epic workout. The parking however was $35 and down another street (not attached) for the night, so we opted to book our car into king George square for a fee of $15.00. A short walk to save $20.00. For the price we paid and the excellent service and experience we received we will definitely be returning!

Wonderful stay at the recently refurbished Hotel indigo. I can’t talk highly enough about this beautiful place! The location is great, very central - 5 mins to the City shopping area , 5 mins to the Arts Precinct, lots of eating options close by and supermarket/seven eleven on next block. The hotel restaurant/bar is on the first floor and has a nice atmosphere and good Japanese food (I can recommend the Katsu Sando). The hotel has a “new”, lux, designer feel and the rooms are exceptional - well laid out, subtle colour palette with many classy touches (abstract paintings, T2 cups, quirky desk & chaise). The facilities all worked perfectly: Air con/heating, Chromecast TV, dual showers etc. There were multiple USB ports and also a wireless charging station, which was really convenient. The white & crisp bed linen, comfy bed, sound proofing and blockout curtains all contributed to a good nights sleep. The staff are lovely, super friendly and happy to help with any queries. This hotel surpassed my expectations, it really is superior to other hotels in the same price range, just miles better. I will be recommending to friends and would definitely come back again (hopefully for longer next time).

Congratulations on a beautiful, update on this accommodation premises. Everything was spot on perfect. The decor and styling was on point. A fantastic location. A wonderful example of excellent service and exceptional staff. Thomas on the front desk reception is to be congratulated on his high level of professionalism .His positive vibe, beaming smile and high class service was welcoming, he introduced the level of service that you ( the owners) would ask of all your staff Australia wide.We have travelled the world - Thomas would be up there as the best purely based on his manner and friendly demeanor . Nothing beats getting welcomed by a smiling excited staff member. We also thank the marketing staff for adding to the vibe of the weekend with the cocktails and chocolates promoting EJ.

The room and breakfast was really nice. The staff was really friendly and helpful. When I arrived the safe in my room didn't work so I told the staff at reception and a few hours later it was fixed. The tv in the room has a Chromecast so you can stream your own media. You can of course also watch live tv if you wish. There was a lot provided in the room (hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner, a scale, everything you need to iron your clothes, coffee and tea, etc.) No real complaints. I was very satisfied with my stay and I would definitely stay there again when I'm in Brisbane.

Very comfortable near effortless stay. The room had everything we needed and then some (smart TV, usb charging ports, a flip down desk with backlit mirrors). Big and little luxuries made the stay a little more special (soft bed, choice of pillows, botanical soaps and creams, waterfall shower). Decent breakfast, cooked and cold with barista coffee. If they didn’t have something the kitchen would try to make it. Friendly staff always h happy to help. If you become an IHG member, you get added perks like early checkin and late checkout.
